Cosa Nostra (John Dickie)
About the life of the Sicilian mafia. Very interesting about the life on the island when major busts were being made.

2. LOVE
The Time Traveller's Wife (Audrey Niffenegger)
Because their love spanned time.

Crime and Nostalgia

1. CRIME
Killing Pablo:
Story of the hunt for the Columbian cocaine king. Very interesting with the US government involvement.

2. NOSTALGIC
Hating Alison Ashley (Robin Klein):
I read it in grade 4 and there was actually a movie made this year about it.

Travel and Humour

1. TRAVEL:
Marching Powder (Rusty Young)
Life in la paz prison in Bolivia. it is a very interesting idea for a prison to function as a community.

2. LAUGHTER:
Elegance (Kathleen Tessaro)
A very light read about an American woman in London.

Great for history of the irish struggle, important being so close.

2. White Teeth (Zadie Smith)
Reading it at the moment and interesting for the multicultural struggle of London.

3. Life Of Pi (Yann Martel)
So imaginative.

4. The Exodus (Leon Uris)
Really good for history of the Middle East.

5. Memoirs Of A Geisha (Arthur Golden)
Lovely for the understanding for the ladies.
